Private AI: Community Edition (MCP Gateway)
The Open Source "Hands" for Sovereign Intelligence.
This repository contains the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Gateway. It is a lightweight server that runs locally on your machine to provide secure, controlled access to your local data tools.
🔌 What's Included?
This is strictly the integration layer. It allows AI agents to "touch" your digital world.
- File System Server: Read/Write access to local directories.
- Google Drive Server: Index and search Drive files.
- Slack Server: Retrieve and summarize application messages.
- Browser Server: Headless browser automation (Puppeteer).
🚀 Getting Started
Prerequisites
- Node.js 18+
Installation
git clone https://github.com/yousernamehere/private-ai-community.git
cd mcp-gateway
npm install
Configuration
Create a .env file in mcp-gateway/ with your tool secrets (Slack Tokens, Google Client IDs).
Run
npm start
# Server listening on port 3001
🤝 Integration
This gateway is designed to be consumed by:
- Private AI Enterprise: The full sovereign agent.
- Claude Desktop: Connects as a standard MCP server.
