MCP Hub

AI Plugin Store — Open Source MCP Server Registry

Website • Installation • Usage • Add Your Server • Docs

What is MCP Hub?

MCP Hub is an open-source registry for MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. It helps you discover, install, and manage MCP servers that extend your AI assistant's capabilities.

Think of it as npm for AI plugins — one command to install any MCP server, with automatic configuration for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other AI clients.

The Problem

MCP servers let AI assistants connect to external tools and data. But currently:

  • 🔍 Hard to discover — No central place to find available servers
  • 📦 Hard to install — Each server has different setup steps
  • ⚙️ Hard to manage — Manual configuration for each AI client

The Solution

mcphub install @official/github

One command. Auto-configured. Ready to use.

Features

  • 🚀 One-Click Install — Install any MCP server with a single command
  • 🔧 Auto-Configure — Automatically sets up Claude Desktop, Cursor, OpenClaw
  • 🔍 Search & Browse — Find servers by category, tags, or keywords
  • 🛡️ Security First — Clear permission declarations before install
  • 🌐 Cross-Platform — Works on macOS, Linux, and Windows
  • 📖 Open Source — Community-driven, transparent, free forever

Installation

Quick Install (Recommended)

curl -fsSL https://mcphub.dev/install.sh | sh
