Local Dev Assistant for Claude Desktop
A simple local MCP server that allows Claude Desktop to read, list, and search files in your project folder — completely locally and privately.
Perfect for asking questions about your own codebases (React, Next.js, Python, Laravel, NestJS.) without uploading anything anywhere.
Features
- List all files in the project (with useful folders ignored)
- Read the full content of any file
- Search for keywords or text across all files
- 100% local — no cloud, no data leaves your computer
- Currently read-only (safe by default)
