一个MCP服务器，提供从The Verge的RSS提要中获取和搜索新闻的工具。

安装

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/manimohans/verge-news-mcp.git
cd verge-news-mcp

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Build the project
npm run build

用法

运行服务器

npm start

使用Claude for Desktop

  1. 安装 Claude桌面版

  2. 在以下位置打开Claude进行桌面应用程序配置：

    • macOS： ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
    • 窗户： %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

  3. 添加以下配置：

可用工具

获取每日新闻

获取the Verge在过去24小时内发布的最新新闻文章。

示例查询：“the Verge今天有什么新闻？”

获取每周新闻

从The Verge获取过去7天发布的新闻文章。

示例查询：“显示The Verge上周的新闻。”

注： 该工具从过去一周中随机选择10条新闻，每次使用时都会提供多样性。

搜索新闻

搜索包含特定关键字的新闻文章。

参数：

  • keyword：要搜索的术语
  • days （可选）：回顾的天数（默认值：30）

示例查询：“从The Verge查找有关AI的新闻文章。”
