RustChain MCP Server

MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for RustChain blockchain integration.

Features

• Query RustChain node for balance, miners, epoch, health status
• Perform transfers (with wallet configuration)
• Fallback node support for high availability
• Compatible with Claude Code and other MCP clients

Installation

git clone <repo-url>
cd rustchain-mcp-server
pip install -r requirements.txt

Configuration

Set environment variables:

export RUSTCHAIN_PRIMARY_NODE="https://50.28.86.131"
export RUSTCHAIN_FALLBACK_NODES="https://node2.example.com,https://node3.example.com"

Usage with Claude Code

claude mcp add rustchain python server.py

Or with the MCP config file (~/.config/claude/mcp_config.json):

Available Tools

• rustchain_balance - Query account balance
• rustchain_miners - List active miners
• rustchain_epoch - Get current epoch information
• rustchain_health - Check node health status
• rustchain_transfer - Transfer wRTC (requires wallet)
