navhub-skills
Turn your NavHub personal knowledge base into AI agent skills.
中文文档 | English
navhub-skills exposes your bookmarks, notes, RSS feeds, and image generation as callable skills for any AI agent — compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
What is it?
NavHub is a personal navigation and knowledge management platform (bookmarks, notes, RSS, AI workspace). navhub-skills wraps NavHub's open API as a skill registry — a structured set of tools that AI agents can discover and call.

Quick Start
New here? Just add the server to your AI client without any key and ask it about NavHub — it will walk you through setup. The server never fails silently: with no key (or a bad one) it still starts, exposing a single
navhub_setuptool that returns step-by-step instructions.To check your connection from a terminal at any time:
npx navhub-skillsRun directly in a terminal it acts as a self-check and prints the connection status; launched by an AI client it runs as an MCP server. No flags needed.
1. Get your NavHub API Key
Log in to navhub.info → Enterprise → API Keys → Create new key.
The key looks like nhk_xxxxxxxx and is shown only once — copy it right away.
Select the scopes you need (notes:read, notes:write, bookmarks:read, etc.).
2. Discover available skills
curl https://navhub.info/open/v1/skills \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
3. Get the MCP manifest
curl https://navhub.info/open/v1/mcp.json \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
Returns a full MCP tool list — ready to use with any MCP-compatible client.
Use with Claude Desktop
Add to your claude_desktop_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"navhub": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "navhub-skills"],
"env": {
"NAVHUB_API_KEY": "YOUR_API_KEY",

}
Then ask Claude:
- "Remember that the project deadline is March 15th"
- "Search my bookmarks for React performance articles"
- "Summarize today's unread articles from my RSS feeds"
- "Generate a cover image for my blog post about AI"
