Cloudflare DNS Analytics MCP Server 📡

This is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that supports remote MCP connections, with Cloudflare OAuth built-in.

It integrates tools powered by the Cloudflare DNS Analytics API to provide insights on DNS analytics and optimization.

The /mcp URL uses a stateless SDK v2 handler that creates a fresh server with request-scoped auth/account context for every request. The retired /sse URL returns 410 Gone pointing at /mcp. OAuth grants and token validation remain durable security state; the server stores no MCP protocol session.

🔨 Available Tools

Currently available tools:

Zone Information zones_list List zones under the current active account.
DNS Analytics dns_report Fetch the DNS Report for a given zone over a given time frame.
Account DNS Setting show_account_dns_settings Fetch the DNS setting for the current active account.
Zone DNS Setting show_zone_dns_settings Fetch the DNS setting for a given zone.

Note: Account-scoped tools detect single-account credentials and account-scoped API tokens automatically. If your credentials can access multiple accounts, pass account_id to the tool or set a cf-account-id request header in your MCP client configuration.

This MCP server is still a work in progress, and we plan to add more tools in the future.

Connect to the MCP server

Connect your MCP client directly to https://dns-analytics.mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp. If prompted, complete the Cloudflare OAuth flow in your browser. The tools become available after authorization.
