Work in progress. Commands are scaffolded with mock data — implementation coming.
Usage
npx mcps
Commands
npx mcps add <source> # Install an MCP server from a GitHub repo or URL
npx mcps list # List installed MCP servers
npx mcps remove # Remove an installed MCP server
npx mcps find [query] # Search for MCP servers
Flags
npx mcps add <source> --pure # Standalone server, no wrapper
npx mcps add <source> --name <name> # Install a specific server by name
npx mcps add <source> --yes # Skip confirmation prompts
npx mcps list --global # Show globally installed servers
npx mcps list --client <name> # Filter by client
npx mcps remove --yes # Skip confirmation
npx mcps --version
Development
pnpm install
pnpm build # Compile src/ → dist/
pnpm dev # Run CLI directly via tsx (no build step)
pnpm test # Run all tests
pnpm test -- --filter add # Run a subset by name
pnpm test -- --list # List discovered test files
